My Next Disney Trip!

On August 1st, my family is leaving for our Disney World Vacation! There are many new things I’m looking forward to as well as old favorites. Here is some info on our trip:

New things:
a.       Driving to Florida with my youngest siblings- 13-15 hour drive to Georgia, staying overnight and then a 4ish hour drive to Disney should be interesting with a van of 6 people
b.      Staying at Animal Kingdom Villas-Kidani Village in a 3 bedroom Grand Villa Savannah View- SOOO excited about this!
c.       Renting a scooter- My dad has had a rough year with his leg, so this will make his trip more enjoyable.
d.      Sanaa- Restaurant at our resort for my cousin’s birthday
e.      Grabbing a 4th FP+ after we use up our original 3- I’ve found that with a good itinerary, you really don’t need more than 3 FP+’s, but we are going to try to get them for the fireworks the one night and see how it goes.
f.        All Star Music Family Suite- we are staying a little longer than the rest of our travel group so we are switching hotels for a couple of days

  Favorites:
a.        Be Our Guest Dinner- was able to snag a dinner reservation here about 2 months ago and can’t wait to dine in the Beast’s castle once again!
b.      1900 Park Fare- My FAVORITE character meal in Disney world. What will make this even more fun is that my sister and I are Disney bounding as Anastasia and Drizella!
c.       Magic Kingdom Welcome Show- How they open up the Magic Kingdom every morning. Such a neat show filled with favorite characters.
d.      Memory Maker- I believe this is one of the best things you can spend your money on is Disney. I’ll make sure to write a post all about it once I get back!

It should be a great trip and I’ll make sure to give a trip report once we get back!

Disney Bounding

A lot of people tend not to have any idea what it means when I say Disney Bounding. The simple definition of Disney Bounding is dressing in a way to portray and model an outfit of a specific Disney Character using certain color pallets and accessories. For example: If you wore a yellow skirt/shorts, a blue top and put a red bow in your hair- you would be Disney Bounding as Snow White.

Seeing as though guest of Disney over the age of 12 cannot wear actual costumes inside the parks, this is a way to show your love for your favorite Disney Characters. I’ve Disney Bounded twice and it was kind of shocking to see which one people recognized more.

The first was Rapunzel, with my best friend dressed as Flynn.

This outfit was fairly simple and didn’t cost much at all. I already owned a purple t shirt and borrowed my sister’s purple skirt. I bought a frying pan earrings, Tangled sun necklace and a Rapunzel inspired hair bow on Etsy.

My best friend’s outfit was a bit more complicated and expensive as she didn’t have any of the clothes need. She wore khaki shorts, a white shirt, a jean vest and brown sandals. She also purchased a satchel from Etsy that was inspired from the movie.

Here are a few pictures to show you different part of our outfits:

Here you can see some of the details.

Another day on our trip we decided to Disney Bound as Ralph and Vanellope from Wreck-it Ralph.

Vanellope was a bit more difficult because I decided to make a t shirt that resembled Vanellope’s sweatshirt in the movie. I also bought teal and white stripped socks, candy bobby pins and a hair bow. The shorts I already had in my closet.

Ralph was a bit simpler. My friend bought a flannel like shirt, overalls, “Stinkbrain” necklace and a Ralph inspired hair bow.

Here are a couple pictures:

Upcoming Disney Bounding:

My sister and I are going as Anastaia and Drizella in August the day we have dinner at 1900 Park Fare. Should be fun! This outfit was a bit expensive, but there are parts that we purchased that can be used when not in Disney, so I believe we will get our money worth.

My best friend and I are going to a special breakfast in November in Disney World that features Frozen friends, so we were thinking about Disney Bounding as Olaf and Sven. This is still in the early stages, but should be fun!

What do you think would be a great Disney Bounding idea? Let me know your thoughts!
