Memory Maker: To buy or Not to buy?!

In my opinion? BUY! I’ve bought Memory Maker on all of my trips since they came out with it.
Let’s discuss the details:

What is it?

Memory Maker gives you unlimited digital downloads of all the pictures taken on your Walt Disney World Vacation by PhotoPass photographers and includes some meal/ride photos as well. Some PhotoPass Photographers can even do "Magic shots." This means they have you pose a certain way and then add a special graphic to the photo that you'll see when you look at your photos later on.

Some Meal Photos Included:

1900 Park Fare
‘Ohana
Akershus
Chef Mickey’s
Cinderella’s Royal Table

Ride Photos Included:

Magic Kingdom- Buzz Lightyear, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
Epcot- Test Track
Hollywood Studios- Tower of Terror and Rock ‘n Roller Coaster
Animal Kingdom- DINOSAUR and Expedition Everest
**They also now have on-ride videos for Tower Of Terror and Seven Dwarf’s Mine Train!

How much does it cost?

It’s best to buy Memory Maker at least 3 days before your trip at a discounted price of $169. The full price is $199 if you decide to buy it while you are there or after your trip.

How do I use it?

It’s quite simple! Every time you stop to take a photo with a PhotoPass Photographer, just have them scan your magic band or Memory Maker card once you are done. If you want a ride photo, go to the picture station near the end of the attraction and tap your band or card on the mickey head that is underneath your picture. Once the mickey head is glowing green, your picture has been added to Memory Maker. The only ride in which you do not have to tap your MagicBand or card is on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. There is no picture station at the end of the ride, the photo and video are automatically connected to your Memory Maker due to technology that detects your MagicBand while on the ride.

Can I share Memory Maker?

Yes! In order to do so make sure that all the people in your party are listed in the same My Disney Experience account or are linked together as friends through My Disney Experience. If you are linked as friends, make sure to check the box that says “This friend can view and purchase my PhotoPass photos.” This way anyone in your group can add photos to Memory Maker.

How do I get to my Memory Maker Photos?

Once you get home, log into your My Disney Experience app and go to your “Reservations and Tickets.” At the bottom there will be a Memory Maker section. Click on “View and Download Your PhotoPass Photos.”

Once there, double check that all of your photos are there. If you have any problems, call the support line at 407-560-4300 or go to this website: https://mydisneyphotopass.disney.go.com/help-and-support/lost-media

After you check your photos, you can add borders, signatures and lots of fun things to your photos.
To download your photos, just select download all and you are good to go! You can download as many times as you want to as many computers as you want within 45 days.

I hope I have helped you understand how Memory Maker works! If you have any further questions about Memory Maker, just reach out to me using one of the ways below!
